I have a question about the natural laws in EVE. Does ore regenerate infinitely in a system? If somebody mines up all the ore, doesn't sell it, and just stockpiles it, will it come back just as quickly anyway?

Well, actually, according to the short stories and novel (Empyrean Age), the EVE timeline is only a few centuries ahead of ours, so the extra billions of years in the age of the stars isn't at all accounted for. Maybe we just need to accept that ...
